  • Gregory V. Hahn, MD

    Gregory V. Hahn, M.D. has been selected for the honor of "Best Doctors in America" since 2003, and listed in America's Top Orthopedists and America's Top Surgeons. He is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at USF College of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is past chairman of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and is the former Chief of Staff at All Children's Hospital. Dr. Hahn is board certified and has been recertified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He received a B.A. from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He stayed at the University of Pennsylvania for his orthopaedic residency training and completed his pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at San Diego Children's Hospital. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Florida Orthopaedic Society, and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He is a Fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society. Dr Hahn enjoys all aspects of pediatric orthopedics and has a special interest in scoliosis.   • Drew E. Warnick, M.D.

    Dr. Warnick graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL, followed by a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery and pediatric sports medicine at the Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Dr. Warnick was awarded the Charles M. Schwartz traveling fellowship and studied at the Adidas Sports Medicine Clinic in Auckland, New Zealand after finishing his fellowship. Dr. Warnick is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the USF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Warnick brings a new area of expertise to our practice. His interests include pediatric sports medicine and problems of the hip in children and adolescents. His specialized training included arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle. He is trained in hip preservation techniques, including those amenable to treatment with surgical dislocation of the hip and the Ganz periacetabular osteotomy. Dr. Warnick is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Health Volunteers Overseas. His recent research includes measuring strain in the individual ACL bundles under large quadriceps forces and the arthroscopic treatment of multidirectional shoulder instability in young athletes. Dr Warnick enjoys all aspects of pediatric orthopedics and has a special interest in sports medicine and hip preservation.   • Paul L.Benfanti, M.D

    Paul L. Benfanti, M.D. joined our practice in April 2011 after retiring from the Armed Services. He graduated from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD in 1990. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center Ft. Gordon, GA in 1997 and a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics and Spinal Deformity at the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC in 2001. Dr. Benfanti is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the USF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Benfanti is board certified and has been recertified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He recently retired from the US Army as a Colonel. During his career he served as Orthopaedic Surgery Program Director from 2003-2009 and Chief, Orthopaedic Surgery from 2010-2011 at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.   • Lee G. Phillips, MD

    Dr. Phillips graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. He attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at The University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT where he served as Chief Resident of Orthopaedic Surgery his final year. He is double fellowship trained in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California and pediatric orthopaedic hand surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Phillips brings a new area of expertise to our practice- pediatric hand surgery. In addition, Dr. Phillips has acquired further specialty training in the complex reconstruction of limb deformities using internal lengthening devices and gradual correction with external frames. Dr. Phillips is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. His recent research includes the characteristics of success and failure in L3 fusions for Lenke 5 curves, and the outcomes of extra-articular drilling for osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) of the talus. Dr. Phillips enjoys all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics and has a special interest in pediatric hand conditions.
