    Dr. Saimon Ramos was born in Brazil and moved to Boston in 1998 at the age of 14. He spent the next 12 years in New England, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts. During his undergraduate years, he became a patient of Dr. Luhao Chen, an experience that would ultimately shape the course of his career. Dr. Chen's passion for dentistry and genuine commitment to patient care inspired Dr. Ramos to pursue a career in the field. Dr. Ramos then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He also completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the University of Florida, right in the Tampa Bay area. It was during this residency that he realized he wanted to make his home in the Tampa Bay area and build his future here. The Florida sunshine proved to be a welcome change from the long New England winters, and Dr. Ramos quickly embraced the vibrant life in the area. While in dental school, he met his wife, Lauren, and together they chose to build their future here and raise their family. Today, Dr. Ramos proudly serves the Palm Harbor community through his practice, Bow Tie Dentist. Outside the office, he cherishes time with his wife and two daughters, Gabriella and Olivia. He is an avid reader who loves traveling and immersing himself in different cultures. Whether he's enjoying a day at the beach or watching a Florida sunset with his family, he deeply values the balance between his professional calling and the simple joys of home life.
