Description

Path of sparks is how I would describe my work. Nature has an influence on my thoughts in creating new pieces from new or recycled metals and other mediums. Welding, cutting and forming metal is what I do along with numerous finishing technique's learned and developed over a lifetime of fabricating custom metal, metal art and metal sculpture. When people look at my artwork, I want them to feel excitement and wonder along with a surreal emotional engagement. My works come from interpreting what I see in nature and life turned into metal through the processes I have mastered over the last 33 years of designing and building metal works. Much like nature which starts from a seed and evolves into something unexpected, this is how my pieces came together, it starts with an idea and evolves as I fashion the pieces together through many different processes. I want my work to seem as though it has always been there in just the right place for just the right person. This is what my artwork and artworld are all about, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do creating it.
